    • Jan 11, 2026: One year ago, I left the hospital and began to regain my mobility. I went home using a four wheeled walker. I’m doing 4km of fast walking on the treadmill during these rainy winter months. I’m so very grateful for the OT, PT, HCA and nursing support that I received at Nanaimo Hospital! 🙏❤️I have 80-90% of my normal mobility again prior to being diagnosed with a rare neurological condition that paralyzed me. I am thankful for every step 👟that I take now. Please don’t take your health and mobility for granted.
